Production Services Dayshift Operator

The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and safety-focused Production Services Operator to join the team at Adbri Cement's Birkenhead manufacturing facility.

This permanent, full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery and being part of a team that keeps a critical manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and development from day one, with opportunities to gain additional licences and build a long-term career within Adbri.

Working day shift, you will provide relief coverage across rotating shifts when required. In return, you'll enjoy the stability of permanent employment, ongoing development opportunities and the chance to contribute to a business that plays a vital role in building Australia's infrastructure.

• Physical fitness and the ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces

What you will need to succeed

• Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health, safety and well being
• Possess a desire for further career development with a proactive and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desirable to hold a current HR, forklift, front-end-loader, and skid steer license.
• Be physically fit and comfortable when working in confined spaces
• Have an aptitude for all things mechanical
• Have basic computing skills
• Show initiative to succeed when troubleshooting and problem solving
• Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team but equally at home working autonomously.

The following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

• Current HR Driver's Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Front End Loader Ticket
• Skid Steer Ticket
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, quarrying, mining, logistics or other heavy industrial environments
