The Fish Factory is excited to announce an opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will see the successful candidate join a well-established delivery driving team, managed by the Logistics Supervisor based in Brisbane. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and a strong knowledge of Brisbane and the SEQ region. As the face of The Fish Factory on the road, you will embody our passion for premium seafood and represent our brand to deliver our high-quality product to high-end restaurants around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast.

Your role

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this part-time role will have you working a minimum of three days a week delivering fresh seafood to our valued restaurant clients. The successful candidate will enjoy driving and bring a high energy, positive attitude to our driving team and our valued customers. To fulfil your duties well, you will be physically fit and be able to undertake an active role. This role will incorporate a Saturday shift, weekly.  

Daily duties of a wholesale driver include:

·         Multi-drop deliveries in and around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast regions, respectively.

·         Packing and loading of customer orders.

·         Ensuring deliveries are executed in an efficient and timely manner.

·         Maintaining clear and frequent communication lines with the Logistics Supervisor.

·         Liaise and relationship-build with chefs and restaurants being delivered to.

·         Represent yourself & the company in a professional manner.

About You

Essential

The successful candidate will have experience in similar role, along with:

·         Current Australian driver’s licence.

·         Exceptional customer service skills.

·         A positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a larger team.

·         A good work ethic, attention to detail and be able to follow instructions well.

·         Excellent organisational skills and strong communication.

·         Sound knowledge SEQ.

Desired, but not essential

·         Experience in foodservice and/or previous cheffing experience.

·         Knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards.
