About Us

Think Big Early Learning is a recently opened, family-run early learning centre in Epping.

We’re building our service and team from the ground up, with a strong focus on creating a supportive, down-to-earth workplace where educators feel valued, supported and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

As our enrolments continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and confident Diploma Qualified Room Leader to lead our Little Wings room, catering for children aged 12 months to 2 years.

About the Role

As the Little Wings Room Leader, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of your room and provide leadership, guidance and support to the educators working alongside you.

We are looking for someone who can create a warm, nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners while also providing strong leadership to their team.

As a new and growing service, flexibility is important to us. While Little Wings will be your primary responsibility, we are looking for someone who understands that building a great centre is a team effort and is happy to pitch in and assist across the service when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification

• Have at least 2 years' previous Room Leader experience

• Be confident mentoring, guiding and supporting junior educators

• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills

• Be organised, reliable and able to take ownership of your room

• Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families

• Work respectfully and positively with people from all backgrounds and walks of life

• Be proactive and willing to help wherever needed

• Hold a current Working with Children Check

• Have full Australian working rights
