WSBR Pty Ltd is a professional building and renovation company delivering quality construction, maintenance and refurbishment projects. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

The successful applicant will perform carpentry work across a range of building, renovation, refurbishment and maintenance projects. The Carpenter must be able to work independently and collaboratively with other trades and site personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Study and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation requirements.
• Select and order timber and other materials and prepare project layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
• Construct and install wall, floor and roof framing.
• Install flooring, doors, windows, external cladding, fascia panels, fixtures and fittings.
• Complete internal fit-outs, renovations, repairs and general carpentry work.
• Check completed structures and installations for accuracy, alignment and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve carpentry and construction issues as they arise.
• Coordinate effectively with other trades, supervisors and site personnel.
• Ensure work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant trade qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant carpentry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in framing, fit-outs, renovations, installations and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Current Australian driver’s licence preferred.
• Construction white card required
