About the role
Join a growing workshop where your skills are valued.We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team. We service and repair a wide range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, plant and fleet vehicles.
About the RoleYour day-to-day duties will include:• Servicing and preventative maintenance• Diagnostics and fault finding• Engine, drivetrain, brake and suspension repairs• Electrical and hydraulic repairs• Completing repair orders and job documentation• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment• Working closely with foremen and the wider workshop teamWe have opportunities available in our workshop, field service/breakdown team, and afternoon shift, with positions available to suit different experience levels and preferences.
What We’re Looking For• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)• Current driver’s licence (HR licence an advantage)• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Pride in the quality of your work• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
