Event Coordinator - The Fresh Collective QLD

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Event Coordinator to join The Fresh Collective—one of Australia’s leading hospitality and events companies.

This is an exceptional role for an organised, passionate events professional who loves bringing memorable experiences to life. You will work across an exciting portfolio of Brisbane venues, including Riverlife at Kangaroo Point, Waters Edge Weddings & Events at Portside and Queensland Museum, as well as coordinating premium offsite events throughout Brisbane.

From corporate functions and large-scale events to weddings and private celebrations, this role offers incredible variety and the opportunity to create memorable experiences in some of Brisbane’s most distinctive locations.

Reporting to the Event Manager – QLD, you will play an important role in delivering seamless events, developing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth and success of The Fresh Collective in Queensland.

About the role

This is a Tuesday-to-Saturday position offering the opportunity to manage events from initial handover through to successful delivery and post-event follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating event requirements across The Fresh Collective’s Brisbane venues and offsite events
• Building strong relationships with clients and guiding them confidently through the event-planning process
• Preparing detailed event orders, run sheets and supporting documentation
• Ensuring every event detail is accurately captured and delivered to the highest standard
• Working closely with the Sales, Events, Culinary and Event Operations teams to create seamless guest experiences
• Communicating event information, budgets and operational changes clearly to clients and internal departments
• Managing multiple events and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Conducting proactive post-event follow-ups and gathering valuable client feedback
• Maintaining accurate event information within Momentus Elite
• Identifying opportunities to build client loyalty, encourage repeat business and support commercial growth

About you

You are a confident and highly organised events professional who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment. You take ownership of your work, remain calm under pressure and genuinely care about creating exceptional experiences for clients and their guests.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar event coordination role
• Experience coordinating corporate events, weddings and social celebrations within catering, hospitality or function venues
• Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills
• Strong administration, organisation and task-management capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality and exceptional guest service
• A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach
• The confidence to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team
• A tertiary qualification in events, hospitality or a related discipline is preferred
