Machine Operator

RRC Australia are seeking an experienced Machine Operators for our Steel Packaging client in Truganina.

This successful applicant will be mechanical minded and preferably have a trade related qualification, A current Forklift Ticket & prior experience troubleshooting tool & machine related errors and/or previous experience working with an automated press machine.

You must have a mechanical aptitude, can-do attitude & commitment to learn.

Your duties will include:

• Running automated press line, making tops and bottoms for 205l drums
• Date input - Booking product, machine downtime feedback
• Trouble shooting of automated press line
• Perform maintenance or report required maintenance to Drum Line Team Leader
• Maintains a clean and tidy working environment according to site standards
• Maintains production records, logbooks, finished goods reports and other relevant documentation
• Ability to deal with problems
• Providing support to the team
• Attitude to learn and to adopt

Essential Criteria

• A current forklift ticket
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and fitness assessment
• Relevant experience in machine operation
• Mechanical Trade qualification or exposure - highly desired
• Fantastic people skills
• Able to start immediately
• Be able to work 10 hour days, Mon-Thurs+ OT where required on Friday & Saturday
