Technical Specialist – TAWFA Delivery

About the role As a Technical Specialist -TAWFA Delivery you will design integrated technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and support the project lifecycle to drive customer solutions and delivery across all states. Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead this individual contributor role works closely with customer account team, internal stakeholders and customer. The position adheres to Vocus’s hybrid model (two days per week in the office) and may require occasional travel to customer sites.   What you’ll be doing day-to-day Own the design of complex, integrated solutions and architectures for large-scale or unique customer requirements, ensuring alignment with technical standards and long-term maintainability. Lead and coordinate technical solutioning on strategic opportunities, guiding multiple solution engineering resources in developing unified, high-quality proposals for the customer. Lead and coordinate solution architecture activities, providing mentorship and technical guidance to ensure consistent best practices and high-quality outputs across all proposals. Support continuous improvement initiatives for feasibility processes, tools, and methodologies, driving higher team productivity and consistency in solution quality. Ensure compliance with solution designs principles to align with technical standards and operational requirements, with custom elements thoroughly documented and approved for implementation. Collaborate with all internal stakeholders by bringing insights from complex customer requirements, ensuring future product offerings and capabilities align with market needs and trends. Serve as the technical escalation point and subject matter expert for advanced solution queries, providing authoritative guidance to customer account teams and customers on complex product or architecture issues. Participating in company and industry events as required. Continually strive to meet project objectives and targets. Create compelling customer value propositions from the solutions and products available. Represent a customer trusted advisor relationship in the accounts and opportunities in which they work. Proactively supporting the delivery team on technical and provisioning processes including preparing LLD documents and finalization of LLD as part of delivery.   What you’ll bring to the role Minimum 5+ years’ technical specialist or solution engineering experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred Proficiency in Enterprise communications & networking/product knowledge (Dark Fibre, Ethernet, Wavelength, IP, voice, cloud, security) Proficiency in Costing & design trade-offs (performance, resilience, risk) Proficiency in Executive solution storytelling (business value, feasibility) Proficiency in Customer engagement and creating customer-facing presentations and proposals
