Experienced plasterer

About the role

Reardon plastering is seeking an experienced plasterer to join our team in Moonee Ponds, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for the high-quality application of plaster to a variety of surfaces, ensuring the smooth finish of walls and ceilings for residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces by removing old plaster, cleaning and priming as needed

• Mixing plaster to the correct consistency and applying it evenly to walls and ceilings

• Sanding and finishing plastered surfaces to a smooth, flawless state

• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the plastering process

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

• Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified plasterer

• Strong understanding of plastering techniques and the ability to produce high-quality finishes

• Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the best possible results

• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role

• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team

• Hold a current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
