Quality Assurance Trainee – Civil Construction

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quality Assurance Trainee to join our civil construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an interest in construction quality and wants to build a long-term career in the industry.

You don't need to be a QA expert - we are looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and an interest in understanding how quality is delivered across civil construction projects.

 About the Role

Working alongside our Project Managers, Supervisors and Engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of civil construction quality assurance.

Your role will include:

·         Assisting with site inspections and quality checks.

·         Assisting with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality checklists.

·         Maintaining accurate quality records and project documentation.

·         Assisting with material and construction testing.

·         Recording and monitoring test results.

·         Assisting with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.

·         Supporting project handover and completion documentation.

·         Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements.

·         Assisting the project team to ensure works are completed in accordance with required quality standards.

·         Working with site teams to identify and address quality issues.

·         Learning and developing your knowledge of civil construction standards, specifications and quality systems.

Previous civil construction experience is highly regarded but not essential. You may be a recent graduate, someone with a civil construction background looking for a career change, or an experienced site-based employee ready to move into a quality-focused role.
