Partnership Communications Assistant
CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Partnership Communications Assistant. This position is full time, based in our Sydney office.
CMS works with churches to set apart godly people as long-term cross-cultural gospel workers. Our vision is to see a world that knows Jesus.
As a Partnership Communications Assistant, you will be part of a professional, close-knit team aiming to cultivate genuine partnership in mission across the CMS Fellowship through effective communication. You will be involved in assisting the overall operation of the Communications team through research, administration, writing and editing, maintaining social media and other duties as required.
You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, carrying out your duties in an effective and trustworthy manner. Primary responsibilities will incorporate a range of tasks as required, including contributing to key missionary communications and deputation resources, collaborating in Branch communications to the CMS Fellowship, updating and maintaining our social media profiles, contributing to CMS Summer School planning and delivery, liaising with external publications and editors regarding copy, and completing a range of administrative tasks.
The successful applicant will have a servant-hearted attitude with willingness to learn and grow in the role over time, as well as a demonstrated interest in world mission. The applicant will also be available to work in our Sydney office. Flexibility in workload may be considered for the right candidate.
Salary will be appropriate to qualifications, skills and experience.
