HR Coordinator - Part-Time Parental Leave Contract

About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced recruiter or HR Coordinator seeking a flexible part-time role with broader HR exposure.

Working three days per week (Monday, Thursday and one other day), you will take the lead on candidate screening, recruitment coordination, onboarding and HR compliance administration.

This role will suit someone who has spent time recruiting in-house, has strong judgement about candidate fit and is naturally thorough, organised and comfortable following process.

You will also have the opportunity to broaden your experience across onboarding, training, HR systems, compliance and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Conduct initial telephone screening and assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate interviews, reference checks and recruitment administration.
• Manage onboarding and ensure required checks, documents and training are complete.
• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.
• Monitor qualifications, clearances, mandatory training and outstanding actions.
• Support staff induction and use of HR and training systems.
• Help improve HR, training and WHS processes and workflows.

About you

You will ideally have:

• Strong recruitment experience, particularly candidate screening and in-house recruitment.
• Good judgement and confidence speaking with candidates.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong compliance mindset.
• The ability to follow established processes and make sure actions are completed.
• Experience with onboarding, HR administration or employee records.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence learning and using HR systems and Microsoft 365.

Experience in NDIS, allied health, disability, healthcare or another regulated environment would be an advantage.
