Account Manager

The Opportunity

The Account & Contract Manager manages the end-to-end client and contractor relationship for our IT and technical labour hire services, primarily supporting Department of Defence engagements with genuine scope to grow private enterprise accounts. You'll field enquiries from clients and contractors, building relationships at Program Manager level, including external MSP Program Managers, as we position for and deliver against panel arrangements.  

This role sits at the centre of the client experience, ensuring contractual obligations and quality standards are met while identifying opportunities to expand our footprint. You'll also contribute to tender submissions and capability statements that keep us competitive for new panels and contracts. 

The successful applicant will bring experience managing government or private sector clients within IT labour hire, ideally with private sector panel exposure. It suits someone comfortable operating across established government panels and greenfield business development, who takes pride in commercial rigour and operational compliance, and can contribute confidently to tender processes without needing to run them solo. 

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management 

• Act as the primary point of contact for allocated clients, building trusted relationships across Federal Government and Private Sector stakeholders through regular engagement and service reviews. 
• Respond to client enquiries, coordinate internal responses, and manage client satisfaction by identifying and acting on improvement opportunities. 

Contract Management 

• Deliver against agreed Contract Management Plans and Account Plans, monitoring client obligations, milestones and service commitments. 
• Coordinate internal resources to achieve contractual outcomes, tracking contract performance and managing risks impacting service delivery. 

Business Development & Revenue Growth 

• Identify opportunities for contract expansion and additional services, working Sales to convert opportunities into revenue. 
• Support cross-selling of Lumify Group services and maintain awareness of upcoming procurement and tender opportunities. 

Tender and Proposal Support 

• Coordinate and contribute to Commonwealth and Defence tender responses, including drafting capability statements, maintaining tender response libraries, and supporting bid planning and submission activities. 

About You

• 5+ years' experience in one or more of: Account or contract management, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment or Labour Hire 
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and managing client relationships 
• Experience delivering and adhering to contractual requirements and SLAs. 
• Excellent proposal writing skills, tender submissions and bid writing 
• Strong commercial acumen, and a high attention to detail. 
• Working knowledge of labour hire 
• Experience working with Defence or other federal government agencies
