Test Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Test Manager to join MIPS full time in Melbourne on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the quality and success of MIPS’ transformation journey. You’ll bring your expertise to a program of significant change, working across technology and business teams to help deliver solutions that are fit for purpose, built with confidence and ultimately make a difference to our members and our people.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the testing strategy across MIPS’ Transformation Program, ensuring quality and confidence at every stage.
• Guide and support our testing team, bringing both strong leadership and hands-on expertise when needed.
• Partner with technology, business teams and implementation partners to deliver effective testing and business readiness.
• Lead testing across complex systems, integrations, data migrations and UAT.
• Identify and manage testing risks, ensuring our solutions are robust, reliable and ready for our people and members.
• Help embed a consistent, practical and collaborative approach to testing across MIPS.

About You

You’re an experienced Test Manager who enjoys bringing people together, solving complex problems and making things work better.

You’ll bring:

• Strong experience leading testing across large-scale transformation programs.
• A strategic mindset, balanced with the confidence to get hands-on when required.
• Experience across system implementations, integrations, data migration and UAT.
• Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across technology and the wider business.
• A practical approach to risk, quality and problem-solving.
• Experience in a regulated environment, with insurance, financial services or healthcare experience highly regarded.
• The ability to lead, influence and make a genuine difference in a changing environment.
