Revenue and Receivables Officer
As a key member of the
Finance team, you will be responsible for customer billing and receipting
processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role plays
an important part in supporting revenue management and delivering excellent service
to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing and
receipting transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer
service to clients and internal stakeholders; including responding to
queries by phone and email
- Manage fortnightly/monthly
settlements and direct debit adjustments
- Generate client invoices and account statements
- Process Refundable
Accommodation Deposits and Ingoing Contributions in compliance with
legislation
- Manage funding accruals and
reconciliations
- Perform revenue-related
reconciliations and provide reporting to management
- Support debtor collection
activities
- Maintain up-to-date
knowledge of the Aged Care Act and relevant legislation
About You
- Diploma/Bachelor in
Accounting in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
in the aged care industry
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Good understanding (or
willingness to develop knowledge) of aged care revenue and legislation
- High attention to detail
with strong organisational skills
- Customer-focused,
collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach
- Ability to work under
pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in a
highly regulated environment
- Strong communication and
stakeholder management skills
- A genuine desire to make a
positive impact
- Experience with
accounting/AR systems, particularly Alayacare is desirable but not
essential.
- National Criminal History
