Dump Truck Operator - Mt Carlton Gold Mine

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a respected mining contractor leading the restart of a major gold operation in North Queensland.
 
About the Role
Located approximately 150km southwest of Townsville, the Mt Carlton Gold Mine forms part of Queensland's historic Charters Towers goldfield, one of Australia's most established gold-producing regions. As operations ramp up under new leadership, the site is entering an exciting new phase of production, creating strong opportunities for experienced operators to be part of its next chapter.
 
We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators with solid hard rock open-cut experience to join the production team. You will be responsible for safe and efficient haulage operations, supporting production targets in a newly mobilising mining environment.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience operating large mining dump trucks in hard rock open-cut operations
• Experience on CAT 777 and similar class haul trucks
• Strong understanding of haul road safety, load limits and fatigue management
• Knowledge of open-pit production processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing production team
• Commitment to safety, responsibility, pride, and respect
