Are you a Senior Project Engineer looking for the opportunity to step into a Project Manager role?
  
Robson Civil Projects is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on a major BHP rehabilitation project in Muswellbrook. This position offers a clear pathway to Project Management, with the successful candidate working closely alongside an experienced Project Manager and progressively taking on greater responsibility as part of a planned leadership transition.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major mine rehabilitation project. You'll be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including planning, programming, client liaison, subcontractor management, cost control, and project reporting.
  
As you build your knowledge of the project and client requirements, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a Project Manager position.
  
What You'll Be Doing

• Managing daily project delivery activities
• Assisting with project planning, programming, and resource allocation
• Monitoring budgets, costs, and project performance
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Building strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders
• Preparing project reports and supporting commercial outcomes
• Working closely with the Project Manager to develop your leadership and project management capability

  
About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Construction Management
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
• Experience delivering civil earthworks, mining, rehabilitation, or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and contract administration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Motivated to progress into a Project Manager role
• Mining experience will be highly regarded
• Experience working on BHP or other mining projects will be advantageous
