About the role
We are seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team at Wendouree Car Service & Roadworthy Centre in Ballarat, Victoria. This role will see you provide high-quality automotive servicing and repairs to our valued customer 20, 30 or 40 hours a week.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicle makes and models
Conducting scheduled services and maintenance work
Replacing and repairing components such as brakes, engine parts and electrical systems.
Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we are looking for
Qualified motor mechanic with a Certificate 111 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Demonstrated experience in a similar automotive repair role, ideally 2 years
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
The ability to communciate technical information clearly
A committment to safe work practices and attention to detail
A positive, team-oriented attitude
A Roadworthy license would be an advantage, but not essential
