Zylo has teamed up exclusively with a well-regarded, Gold Coast based law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services. We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Lawyer to join their Commercial Litigation and Insolvency team.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will play a key role in handling a diverse range of commercial litigation and insolvency matters. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to their clients, while contributing to the growth and development of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation and insolvency issues.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage case files and deadlines effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and strategies.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Law degree and admission to the legal profession in Australia.
• Experience in commercial litigation and insolvency law.
• Strong understanding of commercial law principles and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in handling insolvency-related matters, including liquidation, administration, and receivership.
• Knowledge of dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration.
• A passion for commercial litigation and insolvency law.
