Procurement Officer

ttsBuilt delivers construction, infrastructure and maintenance projects across Australia for a diverse range of mining, government and commercial clients.

We are seeking a proactive and organised Procurement Officer to support our project teams through effective purchasing, supplier management, inventory control and logistics coordination.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or supply chain activities within a multi-trade construction, industrial or maintenance environment. You will work closely with Project Managers, Estimators and operational teams to ensure materials, equipment and services are delivered when and where they are needed.

About the Role

Working across multiple projects and business units, you will help ensure our project teams have the materials, equipment and supplier support required to deliver successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Raising and managing purchase orders across multiple projects
• Coordinating material procurement, deliveries and logistics activities
• Building and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
• Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with vendors
• Maintaining supplier records, pricing schedules and procurement documentation
• Managing company asset registers, including vehicles, tools and equipment
• Coordinating stocktakes and inventory reconciliation activities
• Supporting estimating teams with pricing and procurement information
• Conducting cost analysis and assisting with budgeting activities
• Preparing procurement reports and supplier performance information
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Supporting project teams to ensure procurement requirements are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintaining accurate procurement records in AroFlo, Simpro and associated business systems
• Providing procurement and logistics support across multiple trades and project teams

About You

You may currently work in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, project administration or supply chain roles within a construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or supply chain activities
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• Sound negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and solution-focused approach

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in a multi-trade construction, industrial, maintenance or infrastructure environment
• Experience using AroFlo, Simpro or similar job management systems
• Experience managing inventory, warehousing or logistics activities
• Experience supporting estimating or project delivery teams
• Current unrestricted driver's licence
• Current forklift licence
