About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Storeman / Warehouse & Logistics to join our team at HYDAC' in Altona North, VIC. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing and logistics functions.

What you'll be doing

• Loading & unloading trucks and Forklift driving

• Material inspection

• Goods entry

• Data entry into computer system

• Sorting and filing documents with reference to shipments

• Stocking goods in the appropriate racks or location

• Stock checking, counting and verification

• Generate picking slips

• Physical picking of items, assembly and packing

• Prepare documents for dispatch

• Arrange transportation

• Maintaining the factory and store area in a clean and safe condition

• Perform administrative tasks and documentation control in an ISO9001 environment

What we're looking for

Qualifications:

• Forklift Licence – backed up with demonstrable forklift driving experience

• Cert IV Warehousing certificate

• RF scanning experience

• A good level of mechanical aptitude an advantage

Additional Skills:

• Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language

• High attention to detail

• Can-do positive attitude

• Reliability with a good work ethic and organisational skills

• Committed to ensure that tasks are followed through and completed efficiently

• Willingness to be “hands on” and fully involved in the production process as required
