Workshop Storeperson | Stores Coordinator

It's a specialist pump engineering workshop – and we're looking for someone to run our stores like they own it.

We're a tight-knit team based in Cockburn Central, designing, manufacturing and overhauling mining pumps.

Established in 2006 by a team of engineers, fitters and project managers, we're passionate about building equipment that performs better with minimal environmental impact.

Our Stores & QA role is a key part of the workshop, ensuring every job has the right parts at the right time.

Our previous Storepersons have progressed into engineering and mature-age apprenticeships, so we're looking for someone to take ownership of our stores and QA function.

The ideal candidate is organised, reliable and proactive. You'll have some QA experience (or an interest in learning), be comfortable reading simple engineering drawings, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries against purchase orders

• Performing basic QA measurement tasks

• Picking, packing and dispatching parts to customers and site

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and QA documentation

• Running stock counts and keeping the stores organised and safe

• Coordinating priorities with the workshop and office

• Operating a forklift to load, unload and move stock

Training and support

We'll train you on our systems, products and processes, and can arrange forklift certification if required. We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in stores or warehousing who wants to continue building their skills.

• Current Australian driver's licence (essential)

• Full working rights in Australia

• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Previous stores or warehouse experience preferred (experience in logistics, inventory or a similar hands-on role will also be considered)

• Good organisational skills and basic computer literacy

• Enthusiasm, energy and a genuine sense of ownership

• Forklift licence is desirable, however training can be provided

• Ability to safely handle parts and materials up to 20 kg, with or without reasonable adjustments
