Maritime Constructions is a marine contractor, uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised engineering disciplines to deliver complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning.  Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, underwater pipelines.

About the Role

Maritime Constructions is seeking a Labourer to join our assets team at our North Arm facility.

This is a yard-based role that supports the maintenance, preparation, mobilisation, and storage of plant, equipment, and materials used across our project operations. Working closely with the Assets, Workshop, and Project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment and resources are maintained, organised, and ready for mobilisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance, preparation and presentation of plant, equipment and project assets.

• Load, unload and secure deliveries, pickups and freight.

• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and organisation of the yard, workshop and storage areas.

• Assist with project mobilisation and demobilisation activities.

• Ensure materials, tools and equipment are stored correctly and are readily available when required.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support daily operations.

Essential Requirements

• Construction White Card

• Current Driver's Licence

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Confined Space Ticket

• Forklift Licence (LF)

• HR Truck Licence

• Experience working in a yard, workshop, industrial, civil or construction environment

• There will be an opportunity to gain forklift and confined space qualifications for the right candidate to assist with the duties of the role
