Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions (AOTS) brings the Adelaide Oval team and its unparalleled expertise and high-quality workmanship to sporting grounds, clubs and community spaces across South Australia and beyond.

AOTS is growing, and we're looking for an experienced SA Operations Manager to lead our South Australian operations. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical turf management passion and expertise with operational leadership, overseeing multiple projects and contracts across the state.

Reporting to the National Manager - AOTS, you'll lead a skilled team, build strong client relationships and drive safe, high-quality service delivery. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, supporting business growth and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

What you'll be working on

• Leading day-to-day AOTS operations across SA, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Managing and developing a high-performing team of turf professionals, irrigation specialists and apprentices.
• Planning workforce, equipment and operational scheduling requirements across multiple sites and projects.
• Preparing quotes, tenders and operational costings to support business growth.
• Building and maintaining strong client, contractor and stakeholder relationships.
• Monitoring operational performance, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental standards.
• Maintaining a strong presence in the field through regular site visits and hands-on project involvement.

What you'll bring 

• Relevant qualifications and experience in turf management, grounds maintenance or sports turf operations.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering outcomes across multiple sites, contracts or projects.
• Strong knowledge of turf maintenance practices, irrigation systems and sporting surface requirements.
• Experience preparing quotes, estimates or tender submissions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational delivery, client expectations and budget performance.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and commitment to safe work practices.
