Truck Driver - HC License required

An exciting opportunity exists for a HR Truck Driver at Marine & Auto Depot in Gilberton, QLD 4208.

Requirements

• Current HC license and minimum 2 years’ HC (or higher) driving experience in the Brisbane area

• Must be able to drive manual vehicles

• Eligible and willing to obtain an MSIC for port access (AAT Fisherman’s Island)

• Forklift license and forklift experience is a bonus (not essential)

• Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable with variable start times and regional runs

Responsibilities

• Operate HR tilt trays across daily jobs, primarily using a Fuso Heavy 10m tilt tray plus a trailer

• Complete pickups/deliveries to and from AAT Fisherman’s Island Port, auctions (Pickles, Manheim, Grays, Duttons) and the Gilberton depot

• Drive different trucks as required, including occasional use of the 7m tilt tray and 7 Car carrier for coverage/servicing

• Secure and transport vehicles safely, following procedures and site requirements

• Communicate with dispatch and meet schedules with early starts (typically 5am; 6–7am when not port-based)

• Support runs that may extend to the Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW (Ballina/Byron Bay) as needed
