The organization offers opportunities to work on a range of projects within the Sydney metropolitan area and broader NSW.Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of construction and engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include supervising site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring work complies with design specifications and relevant standards. The role involves assisting with structural and civil engineering solutions, reviewing drawings, preparing site reports, and maintaining accurate records of work completed. The Site Engineer will contribute to quality control processes, participate in inspections, and help address technical issues that arise on site. This position requires frequent communication with project managers, engineers, and site crews to manage timelines, safety requirements, and resource allocation.QualificationsAbility to work effectively in an on-site environment and coordinate daily construction activitiesStrong communication skills for collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and clientsTechnical knowledge in structural engineering and civil engineering principles applicable to construction projectsExperience with quality control processes, inspections, and compliance with relevant standards and regulationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related disciplineProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office toolsProcore JobpacSound understanding of workplace health and safety practices on construction sitesAbility to solve problems on site, prioritize tasks, and work to project deadlinesPrevious experience in a site-based engineering role in Australia is highly regarded
