Hire Controller

About the role

As a Hire Controller, you will be responsible for managing equipment hire from enquiry through to return, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring equipment is available when required.

Key responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries and hire bookings

• Coordinating equipment availability, deliveries and returns

• Preparing quotes and processing hire orders

• Maintaining accurate hire records and documentation

• Communicating with customers, drivers and internal staff

• Following up outstanding hires and equipment

• Ensuring a high level of customer service

• Assisting with general administration and day-to-day hire operations

About you

• Experienced in equipment hire, construction, transport or a similar industry

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Confident communicating with customers and staff

• Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure

• Reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership

• Comfortable using computers and hire/admin systems

• A team player with a positive attitude

Benefits
