About the role:

Nineinsix Builders are the Principal Builder behind a high-profile custom build project in Melbourne’s northern suburbs area.  The Founders come from a hands-on high quality carpentry background with over 40 years in the industry.

At Nineinsix we pride ourselves in being builders and as a result work with Carpenters across all aspects of completed projects and contribute to tasks beyond the standard carpentry role.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be imparting your experience in all aspects of carpentry and renovation construction, including:

·       Performing all aspects of carpentry and building.

·       Following construction drawings and plans to meet the needs of the build.

·       Setting out and site establishment as per plans and site requirements.

·       Working with a team of qualified & apprentice carpenters, subcontractors and other labourers.

·       Inspecting, recording and replacing defective aspects of the build.

·       Working in a safe manner and compliant with OH&S rules.

·       Duties as required to support the overall build process.

What we're looking for:

·       2-3 plus years experience as a qualified carpenter (high end residential experience a bonus but not essential).

·       Willingness to ensure you always following safety guidelines.

·       Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical documents and drawings.

·       Strong understanding of English, good communication skills and a demonstrated ability with numbers.

·       A driven and energetic work ethic who works well autonomously.

·       A desire to learn yourself and with those around you.
