About the Role
As a Travel Anaesthetic / PACU Registered Nurse in Grafton or Lismore, NSW, you will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care across the anaesthetic and post-anaesthetic recovery areas. Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will support patients throughout their surgical journey while maintaining the highest standards of safety and clinical care.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within Anaesthetic and PACU settings
• Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence of anaesthesia
• Monitor and assess patients during post-operative recovery
• Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and emergency situations
• Administer medications and manage post-operative pain in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and perioperative best-practice guidelines

What you'll need

• Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse)
• Recent Anaesthetic and PACU nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to work confidently within perioperative environments
• ALS certification desirable
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
• Australian working rights (contract role – no sponsorship available)
