Our clients include Apple, the United Nations, Formula 1, Disney and leading international event organisers.The OpportunityWe are looking for a customer-focused Casual Event Technology Support Crew Member to join our Melbourne team.This position is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, events, hotels, venues or customer service who is comfortable using technology and enjoys working in fast-paced environments.You do not need to be an experienced IT technician. We will provide training on our equipment and systems. What matters most is your ability to communicate professionally, solve problems, stay calm under pressure and provide excellent service to clients and event attendees.The role includes preparing equipment at our Mordialloc warehouse and supporting live events at venues across Melbourne and, occasionally, other locations.What You Will Be DoingWelcome and assist clients, event organisers and attendeesProvide friendly, professional support during conferences and eventsSet up laptops, tablets, printers, badge-printing equipment and other event technologyAssist attendees with registration, check-in and badge printingPrepare, test and pack equipment before eventsTroubleshoot basic equipment and connectivity issuesEscalate technical problems to senior team members when requiredAssist with event setup, pack-down and equipment collectionCheck returned equipment and prepare it for the next eventSupport warehouse activities, stock control and logisticsTravel to event venues as requiredWork occasional evenings, weekends and early morningsYou Will Thrive in This Role If You HavePrevious experience in hospitality, hotels, venues, events or customer serviceA friendly, confident and professional approachStrong communication and people skillsThe ability to remain calm and helpful in busy live-event environmentsConfidence using laptops, tablets, smartphones and other everyday technologyA practical, hands-on approach to problem-solvingGood attention to detail and personal presentationThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work outside standard business hoursA valid Australian driver’s licenceFull Australian working rightsExperience in event technology, IT support, audiovisual equipment or networking is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.What We OfferCompetitive casual hourly ratePaid training on event technology and equipmentOvertime and additional shift opportunitiesFlexible casual work based on event schedulesOpportunities to support major events and international clientsCareer development within a growing global organisationExposure to event technology and live-event operationsA collaborative and supportive team environmentSocial activities and team eventsImportant InformationThis is a casual position, and working hours will vary depending on event schedules.
