The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Production QA Labourer to join our production team in Kyneton.
This hands-on position combines general labouring duties with quality assurance responsibilities, playing a key role in ensuring our fabricated steel products meet CSB's high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
Working closely with production and leadership teams, you will assist with quality inspections, support workshop operations, identify improvement opportunities and help ensure products are manufactured to specification before dispatch.
This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail and a genuine commitment to producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with quality inspections and checks throughout the fabrication process.
Identify and report defects, inconsistencies or quality concerns.
Support final quality verification prior to product dispatch.
Assist with maintaining quality records and documentation.
Perform general labouring and workshop support duties.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve daily targets.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
Uphold CSB's commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in labouring, construction, manufacturing, or steel fabrication (Preferred but not essential)
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Forklift licence (Preferred but not essential)
White Card (Preferred but not essential)
Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
Physically fit with the ability to lift and handle materials when required
Strong focus on safety and teamwork
Willingness to learn and grow within the business
