Our prominent client is on the lookout for proficient and experienced Drill Fitters to join their expanding team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing drilling equipment, demonstrating exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of drilling machinery and equipment, contributing to the success and efficiency of operations.

To qualify for this role, applicants must:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Drill Fitter.
• Provide supporting documents such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of drilling equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts inventory.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and standards, promoting a safe working environment.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry technologies and practices related to drill equipment maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in drill equipment maintenance and repair.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and effective communication.
