Senior Accountant Clerk Grade: 9/10 Annual Salary Range: $133,348 - $146,945 plus superannuation Employment Type: Full-time, Ongoing Location: Darlinghurst, Sydney (hybrid work options available) About this role The Independent Review Office (IRO) is seeking an
experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial and management
accounting services, including oversight of the grants invoicing
function. The role supports the effective delivery of IRO’s financial
obligations through financial planning, analysis and reporting, savings
initiatives, statutory compliance and sound financial control. Working closely with senior leaders, business teams and
external stakeholders, you will provide specialist financial advice, prepare
financial submissions and reporting, develop and monitor financial key
performance indicators, and contribute to policies, procedures and practices
that support accurate reporting, timely grant payments and continuous
improvement of financial systems and processes. About us The Independent Review Office (IRO) is an independent
statutory body in NSW that helps injured workers and motor vehicle accident
claimants resolve disputes with insurers and provides legal funding to support
claimants through the claims process. As part of the Department of Customer Service, the
