Business Development Executive

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our Queensland team and play a key role in driving new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with transport, freight, or logistics experience who enjoys identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and delivering commercial solutions.

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will perform the below duties, including but not limited to:

• Identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities

• Building and managing a strong sales pipeline

• Developing relationships with new and existing customers

• Conducting customer meeting to understand transport and logistics requirements

• Preparing quotes, pricing proposals, and tender submissions

• Negotiating commercial agreements and securing new contracts

• Growing existing customer accounts and identifying upselling opportunities

• Providing market intelligence and competitor insights

• Maintaining CRM records, forecasts, and sales reporting

• Working closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
  

About You:

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience in business development or sales executive

• Experience in transport, warehousing, or logistics industry experience

• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• A proactive and results-focused approach

• Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office Applications

• Current Driver’s License

• Ability to travel as required
