As a Category Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of a 6 – 18 month category strategy across Endeavour Group or one of our retail brands. You’ll bring together customer insights, product mix, pricing, promotions, marketing and distribution to drive the commercial performance of your category and deliver experiences our customers love.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Lead and execute the 6–18 month strategy for your category
• Use customer and market insights to identify growth opportunities
• Own commercial performance across sales, profit, price and stock
• Lead commercial negotiations and build strategic supplier partnerships
• Shape product mix, pricing, promotions and go-to-market strategies
• Partner across Marketing, Loyalty, Operations and broader Merchandise
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing category team

The role has genuine end-to-end commercial ownership, from category strategy and customer insights through to supplier negotiations, promotional execution and people leadership.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 5+ years’ experience across buying, marketing or commercial roles
• Experience in retail buying, marketing or business development
• Strong category management and commercial capability
• Confidence using customer data and insights to drive action
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Experience influencing across complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong people leadership and the ability to develop others
• FMCG and/or liquor industry experience is highly regarded

These align closely with the experience profile in the Category Manager PD, including 5+ years' commercial experience, Drinks exposure, category management capability, negotiation, matrix influencing and people leadership.
