Finance Officer
Location: Dunsborough, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time (Option of 0.8FTE)
 
Pindari is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our busy team based at our Dunsborough office.
 
This is a hands-on role responsible for accounts payable and receivable, receipting, reconciliations, payments and a range of broader finance and administrative functions. You will work closely with the Finance and Operating Management Teams to ensure financial and administrative activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes.
 
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can build positive relationships across all levels of the business.

About the Role
Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier and debtor invoices.
• Accounts payable, receivable and supplier payments.
• Bank and month-end reconciliations.
• Purchase order administration and debt collection.
• Processing staffing hours and supporting rostering systems.
• Managing timesheet approvals and ensuring timesheets are accurately reviewed and processed within required timeframes.
• Supporting payroll functions, including payroll processing and related administration.
• Completing compliance and administrative tasks.
• Providing general office and finance team support as required.
• Supporting the wider business to meet operational and administrative objectives.
• Contributing to a positive culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Desirable Experience
The following would be highly regarded:

• A formal qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Experience using MYOB Advanced and Power BI.
• Previous payroll experience.
• Experience working within a similar industry or operational environment.
