About the role
Lead, coach, and develop the Bakery & Café team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Manage department performance, including sales, wages, gross profit, and stock control.
Ensure fresh, high-quality products are consistently available and presented to a high standard.
Drive merchandising, promotions, and local initiatives to maximise sales and customer engagement.
Maintain compliance with food safety, HACCP, workplace health & safety, and company standards.
Proven leadership experience in a bakery, café, hospitality, or fresh food retail environment.
Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and workplace health & safety requirements.
Experience managing budgets, labour costs, stock control, and department profitability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Passion for fresh food, coffee, customer service, and creating a positive team culture.
