Lead Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale digital and technology initiatives. This position will suit a senior BA who enjoys working across business and technical teams, facilitating complex stakeholder conversations, and translating business needs into practical solutions.
Working within a collaborative project environment, you will engage with senior stakeholders, architects, developers, data specialists and external vendors to support the delivery of modern digital platforms and business improvements.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements discovery sessions.Analyse complex business problems and identify opportunities for process improvement.Elicit, document and manage business and technical requirements.Produce high-quality artefacts including:User storiesAcceptance criteriaProcess mapsBusiness rulesRequirements documentationTraceability matricesDocument system integrations, data flows and reporting requirements.Collaborate with technical teams to support solution design activities.Support testing, validation, defect triage and user acceptance testing (UAT).Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners.Contribute to continuous improvement and modern delivery practices.
Skills & ExperienceWe're interested in candidates who can demonstrate:Extensive Business Analysis experience within digital or technology projects.Strong requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation capabilities.Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog artefacts.Business process mapping and process improvement expertise.Experience documenting integrations, interfaces and data flows.Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience supporting Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.Exposure to testing, UAT and delivery support activities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work effectively in complex, fast-paced and evolving environments.
Desirable ExperienceExperience working with one or more of the following would be highly regarded:Enterprise applications (ERP, HR, Finance, Procurement or Document Management systems)Data and reporting initiativesCloud-based platformsDigital transformation programsGovernment, research, scientific, agriculture or highly regulated environmentsTools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio and Microsoft 365.
