Planner

Monadelphous is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Planners to join our team supporting major mining and minerals operations in Port Hedland, WA. Working within our Engineering Construction division, you’ll play an important role in the planning and coordination of ongoing project and maintenance activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project and client requirements. Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain detailed project and maintenance schedules using Primavera P6.
* Coordinate work scopes, sequencing and resource requirements across multiple disciplines.
* Liaise with client representatives, project teams and execution personnel to support effective planning and delivery.
* Develop planning documentation, schedules, lookaheads and work plans.
* Coordinate labour, equipment and material requirements to support execution.
* Monitor schedule performance and update progress throughout project delivery.
* Identify schedule risks, constraints and critical path activities, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
* Prepare progress reports, forecasts and schedule updates for project stakeholders.
* Support project reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all planning activities comply with client procedures, project requirements and Monadelphous safety standards.

What you’ll bring:

* Previous experience as a Planner within mining, minerals, heavy industry, oil & gas, construction or major maintenance projects.
* Demonstrated experience planning large-scale projects or maintenance activities within a mining or resources environment.
* Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
* Experience using SAP or equivalent project/maintenance management systems.
* Strong understanding of project planning methodologies, work management processes and critical path scheduling.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project documentation and work scopes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* High level of organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
