About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Yardperson to join our team at Peninsula Timber & Hardware in Rosebud, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will involve assisting customers, maintaining the yard, and supporting the overall operations of our busy timber yard.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting customers with loading and unloading purchases

• Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the yard and storage areas

• Receiving and organising stock deliveries

• Operating forklifts and other machinery to move and store materials

• Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients

• Collaborating with the broader team to ensure the smooth running of the business

About you

• Experience working in a similar labourer or yardperson role, preferably in the trades or hardware industry

• Forklift license is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication and customer service abilities

• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to the success of the business

• Reliable and Honest is a must
