About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated clinician to deliver Multisystemic Therapy (MST), an evidence-based, intensive, family-focused intervention that works with young people with complex behavioural needs and their families. MST is a well-researched, community-based treatment model designed to support families to safely maintain children at home and prevent out-of-home care.
This program is funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing as part of Restoring Families (previously Family Preservation and Reunification Response).
The therapist role is central to the MST model. Key responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, intervention planning, and collaborative safety planning with families, young people, and other key service providers. The therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary MST team and participate in weekly supervision and consultation to support clinical decision-making and model fidelity.
This is an Ongoing Full Time role within
This role services the North Metro region, with team members based in NEMA and Hume Merribek LGAs. Travel across these areas is required.
