SMSF Accountant/Adminstrator

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-driven and tech-savvy SMSF Administrator to join our boutique accounting team. This part-time role (15-20 hours per week) is perfect for someone who knows their way around BGL Simple Fund 360 inside and out, and enjoys working in a supportive, flexible, and modern workplace.

At our firm, you’ll work with a friendly, down-to-earth team that values collaboration, learning, and quality over quantity. You’ll manage your own portfolio of SMSFs, contribute ideas that make processes better, and work in a space where your input genuinely matters.

• Managing the end-to-end administration of SMSFs using BGL Simple Fund 360.

• Preparing financial statements, annual returns, and compliance documents for SMSFs.

• Processing contributions, pensions, and member statements in line with ATO and SIS rules.

• Working closely with clients and auditors to ensure everything is accurate and on time.

• Keeping up to date with superannuation and tax changes that impact your funds.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SMSF administration.

• Super confident using BGL Simple Fund 360 and other cloud-based accounting tools.

• Excellent understanding of superannuation legislation and compliance standards.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
