Casual Airbnb & Holiday Property Cleaner – Jervis Bay Area

Coastal Vibe Cleaning Services is a locally owned cleaning business servicing holiday properties throughout the Jervis Bay area. Our Airbnb and holiday rental portfolio is continuing to grow, and we're looking for reliable casual cleaners to join our team.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible daytime work who doesn't necessarily want full-time hours. Hours will vary depending on bookings, with additional work available during busy periods, school holidays and peak season.

About the role

Our holiday property cleans are generally completed between 10am and 3pm, between guest check-out and check-in.

Work includes:

• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens

• Vacuuming and mopping

• Dusting and general presentation

• Making beds and preparing properties for arriving guests

• Restocking guest supplies

• Following individual property instructions

• Working independently or alongside other team members

Most of our properties are located around Huskisson, Vincentia, Sanctuary Point and surrounding Jervis Bay areas.

Hours & availability

This is a casual role with approximately 5–15 hours per week, however hours will vary with bookings and seasonal demand.

Some weekend availability is important, particularly Saturdays, but this does not mean working every weekend. We are building a larger casual team so that weekend and peak-period work can be shared across staff.

There is also potential for additional weekday hours for the right person.

Pay

Casual Level 1 rates under the Cleaning Services Award apply, including applicable weekend penalty rates.

• Weekdays: $33.85 per hour

• Saturdays: $47.39 per hour

• Sundays: $60.93 per hour

• Plus superannuation

• Paid travel time and applicable vehicle allowance when travelling between properties during a shift.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Is reliable and communicates well

• Has good attention to detail

• Is comfortable with physical cleaning work

• Can work efficiently within holiday-property turnaround times

• Is happy working both independently and as part of a team

• Has a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

• Is comfortable travelling between local properties during a shift

Previous cleaning, housekeeping or Airbnb experience is great, but not essential for the right person. We're more interested in finding reliable people with a good work ethic who take pride in what they do.

We provide training in our cleaning systems and property requirements.
