Residential Support Worker (Bendigo)

Lifely are seeking dedicated, passionate and committed Residential Support Workers to provide direct care to our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Participants in Bendigo.

The successful candidates will be part of a team providing 24/7 individual support and care to our participants, contributing to a person-centred care model that goes above and beyond. Every day you will be making a positive difference and building a relationship with our Participants.  

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing organisation. Remuneration commencing at $45.28 per hour for casual employees. 

Availability is required for at least 4 days during the week/weekend from 3:00pm until 10:00pm with at least 2 of these days requiring overnight shifts (non-active) from 3:00pm until at least 10:00am the following morning.

We provide information and support to enable people to make their own choices and decisions, ensuring each person can expect the best possible outcomes according to their circumstances, needs and aspirations. We offer one on one support and group programs, designed to meet personal goals and improve life skills.

• A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.

• Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

• Dedication to their job and their team.

• Good presentation and a professional attitude.
