Labourer

About the role

This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working hard, being part of a team and seeing the results of a job well done. You'll be working across the Townsville and surrounding region, with travel across the northern region required at times - you could be away a week at a time.

Key responsibilities

• Pulling up and removing existing flooring

• Operating grinders, jackhammers and floor preparation equipment

• Preparing floors ready for new flooring installation

• Carrying out site measures

• Moving materials, equipment and waste

• Keeping worksites clean, organised and safe

• Looking after tools and equipment

• Working alongside the team across the Townsville and surrounding region

About you

• Physically fit and capable of manual work

• Reliable and turns up on time

• Excellent work ethic

• Communicates well with clients and team members

• Strong eye for detail

• Takes pride in getting the job done properly

• Can follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Own reliable vehicle

• Experience in flooring, construction, demolition, concrete preparation or labouring is preferred but not essential
