Education Specialist

This is a casual role working after school hours, offering flexibility across our clinics and online and opportunity to work on Saturdays. As an Education Specialist, you’ll use your teaching expertise to play a vital role in helping children build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their potential in literacy and numeracy.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, evidence-informed educational support across our centres, schools, and online. You will:

• Provide tailored tutoring and intervention in literacy and numeracy
• Conduct educational assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and evaluate individualised learning plans.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists).
• Contribute to school communities through consultation and professional learning opportunities.
• Actively participate in professional development to stay at the forefront of best practice.

What you’ll bring

• Teaching qualifications + NESA Proficient Accreditation (or equivalent).
• Experience teaching literacy and numeracy across age groups.
• Understanding of the science of learning, reading,and maths.
• A collaborative, proactive, and caring approach.
