About The Role

Redox is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Wetherill Park team in a full-time permanent capacity (6am - 2:06pm - with flexibility for 5am starts). The Wetherill Park facility is a specialist in solvent distribution and specialty chemical solutions (Class 3 Flammables). Tyre shine, disinfectants, nail polish remover and various types of paints and coatings are just a few of the consumer goods our raw chemicals help make.

The Position

Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring all who work and enter the warehouse and its' grounds adhere to Redox's policies, procedures, and site-specific conditions of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) in compliance with state and federal legislationSupervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, related logistics activities in co-ordination with the Store Manager to drive DIFOT performanceEnsure inventory management best practices are applied encompassing (but not limited to) container unpacks, stock storage, location, segregation, quantities, packaging, labelling and housekeepingResponsible for good housekeeping and hygiene standards ensuring that GMP and HACCP compliance along with general warehouse cleanliness is maintained across the warehouse and related groundsAbility to communicate and work with various stakeholders internally and externally to improve performance and outcomes for the businessTimely and effective execution of warehouse, MHE and safety related maintenance and inspection tasks, remedial action and reportingEffective and cohesive team management in mentoring, inducting and training warehouse and production operatives and related functions in processes, systems and operational tasks and functionsIdentify and act on opportunities for improvement in co-ordination with the Store Manager, whilst resolving raised quality problems

About You

Minimum 2 years' industry experience in a hands-on front-line role. A tertiary qualification in Warehouse, Transport or a related discipline highly regardedHold a current Australian forklift licence - LF classExperience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts. Knowledge of WHS state and federal legislation Knowledgeable of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous substances regulatory handling and storage legislationStrong leadership and communication skills in managing and guiding staff at all levels in warehouse operations and related activitiesWell-developed time management, reporting and organisational skillsAbility to lead by example, working in a well-paced and physically active environment
