Eat Speak Learn Allied Health Services
About the role
This role is for a Speech Pathologist who is interested in developing or deepening their skills in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and supporting children with complex communication needs.
Whether you already have AAC experience or are keen to build your confidence in this area, you’ll have access to a structured AAC Competency Framework and support from experienced clinicians to develop your skills step-by-step.
Your caseload can include AAC alongside broader paediatric speech pathology presentations, with opportunities to develop your skills in assessment, implementation, device programming, funding applications and coaching families and communication partners.
This role may be suitable for an experienced AAC clinician or a Speech Pathologist looking for the mentoring, structure and clinical opportunities to develop their expertise in this area.
