Wait Staff

Beef & Bar Restaurant is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Wait Staff/ Waiter to join our dynamic team in Darwin. We are looking for a reliable hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and can work effectively in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional and friendly table service.
• Present menus and beverage lists and assist customers with selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Set, arrange and clear tables before, during and after service.
• Provide information about menu items, daily specials and dietary requirements.
• Recommend suitable food and beverage options to customers.
• Process customer payments and operate POS systems and cash registers.
• Respond professionally to customer requests, feedback and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining and service areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, responsible service and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen, bar and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar food and beverage service role is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional presentation and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to full-time employment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
