About the role
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for a role that offers flexibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to create genuine change in people's lives?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing NDIS team in Newcastle. Working across home, school, clinic and community environments, you will support children, adolescents and adults to achieve greater independence, improve participation in daily life, and reach their personal goals.

As an NDIS Occupational Therapist, you will:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants across the lifespan
Complete functional capacity assessments and reports
Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to participant goals
Assess and recommend assistive technology and home modifications
Support participants with daily living skills, sensory regulation, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and community participation
Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, schools, and other allied health professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and NDIS-compliant reporting
Manage your own caseload with autonomy and flexibility

You will have:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills
A passion for empowering people living with disability
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Current unrestricted driver's licence
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Experience working within the NDIS
Experience with paediatrics and/or adults with psychosocial, intellectual, physical, or developmental disabilities
